EThekwini Municipality’s Durban Film Office has announced
its 2016/2017 call out for submissions for the Development Fund Programme.
The Durban Film Office Development Fund Programme aims to
support intermediate and experienced producers based in Durban who need to
develop feature fiction or documentary projects for the local and/or
international market. The programme will provide grant funding for two Durban
film projects per annum, to a maximum of R250,000 per project towards the
development of the project.

The Development Fund Programme Factsheet is also available
on the website to assist with regards to evaluation criteria, contractual
agreements, funding drawdowns etc.
Submission deadline is August 31 2016 and no emailed
submissions will be accepted.
