Join the KZNSA tomorrow for a celebration of rhythm and
movement with a special Women's Day workshop with local capoeira groups Angoleiros
Kwazulu and Njongo Capoeira.
“As we celebrate emerging femininity in this rhythmic
practice, the instruction and continuity will be conducted by women under a
predominantly female-led batteria (orchestra). The workshop will comprise movement,
music, roda and discussion,” say the organisers.
The workshop will take place from 10h00 to 14h00 tomorrow (August
9). Entry is free and all ages and fitness levels are welcome. The Arts Cafe
