Friday Friends is
the title of an exhibition which opened on October 1 in the Corridor Gallery at
artSPACEdurban:
“Our group of
friends paint together on a Friday at a local community hall. It is a wonderful
opportunity for like-minded people to spend time away from the distractions at home
to be able to be creative,” says a group representative.
Participating
artists are Ann Waterson, Beulah van Rooyen, Anna Viljoen, Marie Mansfield,
Hazel Nunes and Brenda Pratt. All are members of USCAA (the Upper South Coast
Art Association).
Friday Friends runs in artSPACEdurban’s Corridor Gallery
until October 14 at 16h00. artSPACE durban is situated at 3 Millar Road (off Umgeni Road) close to the Waste Centre.
