Maritzburg concert pianist, Christopher Duigan, will be playing a selection of music by Frederic Chopin, which he has recorded for his new CD, Christopher Duigan plays Chopin, at the Tatham Art Gallery in Pietermaritzburg on November 27.
Christopher Duigan plays Chopin is Duigan’s first solo album in 12 years and follows his performances of this programme in major centres in South Africa over the past nine months. The Tatham concert will include Chopin's most iconic nocturnes, waltzes, the Ballade no 1 and popular Fantasie-Impromptu.
The recital will take place at 11h30 on November 27 at the Tatham Art Gallery which is in Chief Albert Luthuli Street, Pietermaritzburg. Duigan will also host an exclusive dinner soiree evening to launch Christopher Duigan plays Chopin at 35 Montgomery Drive, Athlone, Pietermaritzburg, on November 26.
Tickets R200 include dinner from 18h30. Dinner guests should bring their own wine. Book a table for four more or more or join others at one of the large tables.
