The Acoustic Guitar
Extravaganza music event at Michaelhouse on November 4 will feature top
acoustic guitar players, when Nashville meets Kwa-Zulu in the Midlands.
The event will feature David Grier and Madala Kunene.
Grier – the International Bluegrass musician from Nashville
Tennessee - has played on three Grammy award winning albums, and he is a three
time winner of the prestigious IBMA award for best guitarist of the year. He
has performed and recorded with Bela Fleck and Victor Wooten to name but a few.
His album Lone soldier was rated as
one of the top 100 acoustic guitar albums of the 19th century by Guitar
magazine.
Kunene is one of KZN’s most popular acoustic guitarists and
has performed extensively throughout the province.

Extravaganza event brings together two musicians from different backgrounds,
musical styles and countries for a truly special musical performance.
The performance takes place at 19h30 on November 4 at the
