KwaMashu School of Dance (KMSDT) is holding a three-year
training and job creation programme audition for young adults who are
passionate about taking dance as career.
KwaMashu School of Dance Theatre provides trainees with the
highest quality of dance training in what they believe as a nurturing and
loving environment. The structure of the classes includes African Contemporary,
variations of Local street dance, and Modern African Dance.
“Although contemporary is the primary focus of our training
technique, we believe that dance artists benefit from the structure of our
classes which includes a variety of dance styles,” says Vusi Makhanya, founder,
CEO and owner of KMSDT.
“All candidates need to be available from the beginning to
the end of the audition which will take three days. We require candidate to
wear flexible clothes to dance on, no shoes and please leave fear at home,” adds
Makhanya,
The auditions take place on February 6, 8 and 10 from 09h00
to 14h00pm at the KwaMashu Indoor Sport Centre (Gymnasium studio).
