ARDMORE EXHIBITS IN CAPE TOWN

(Zambezi Paradise Masterwork no.10 by sculptor Tebogo Tsenaa Ndlovu. Pai)

The Zambezi River’s flocks of brightly coloured birds and an abundance of wildlife are the inspiration for Ardmore Ceramic Art’s The Great Zambezi exhibition, which will be staged at The Cellars–Hohenort in Cape Town from February 17 to 19.

The Cellars Hotel will also host the first view of a new range of wallpaper from the British-based company, Cole & Son. The company has collaborated with Ardmore to create the colourful range.

In addition, Ardmore’s new Zambezi Fabric Collection will be available for viewing.

Based in Drakensberg in KZN, Ardmore Ceramic Art is one of South Africa’s greatest creative success stories. The work of the studio’s artists has been sold at Christies, Sotheby’s and Bonham’s in London and to collectors in New York, Los Angeles and Paris. Their designs were recently featured on Hermes scarves to critical acclaim.

The exhibition runs from February 17 to 19 at The Cellars-Hohenort Hotel, 93 Brommersvlei Road, Constantia in Cape Town. For more information contact The Cellars-Hohenort on 021 794 2137 or visit www.ardmoreceramics.co.za
