The six-concert summer symphony season of the KZN
Philharmonic Orchestra, to be held in the Playhouse, starts on February 9, and so
do the pre-concert lectures arranged by the Friends of Music.
The lectures are at 18h00 on concert nights in the Alhambra
Room in the Playhouse, ending at 18h45, in time for drinks and snacks before
the concert starts at 19h30 in the Opera. Entry is R10.
The lecturers this season are: Michael Green (February 9, 16
and 23); Teddy Pillay (March 2 and 9); and David Smith (March 16).
