5th African Emerging Filmmakers Awards [AEFA]: New Call out
for film submissions.
The Ethekwini Filmmakers Association has announced the new
date for the 5th African Emerging Filmmakers Awards. The awards could not take
place last year in December due to situations beyond the organizers' control.
The new date for the awards is May 27, 2017.
There is a second film submissions call out until April 7, 2017.

Films that are nominated will be screened on a two day
Ethekwini Film Market [EFM] which will take place from May 25 to 26, 2017 at
the Workshop Amphitheatre before the awards where eight films will be screened.
All members of the public are invited to come and see the films and get a
change to mingle with the directors, producers and actors.
Films can be either hand delivered -during office hours- or
sent via post to Durban Film Office, 41 Margaret Mncadi Avenue, Rennie House,
11th Floor no later than April 7, 2017.
Regrettably, films with technical errors will not be
