Kaatru
Veliyidai (English: Breezy Expanse) is an Indian
romantic thriller film directed by Mani Ratnam under his home production firm
Madras Talkies. It features Karthi & Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead roles and
cinematography is handled by Ravi Varman.
Karthi plays a role of military fighter
pilot. Being held as a prisoner of war, Karthi remembers his romance with a
doctor, played by Aditya Rao Hydari. The plot of the film is said to revolve
around a passionate love story set against the backdrop of war.
The film's soundtrack and original score
were composed by AR Rahman.
