(Barry Thomson, Dawn Selby, Shaun Dragt,
Mali Sewell & Jason Andrew)
Rock ‘n roll music
appealed to the rebellious teenagers who listened to music which their parents
did not approve of. But how artistes like Chuck Berry and Elvis Presley proved
them wrong!
The show features
iconic bands/artistes who started as garage bands and ended up in stadiums,
selling millions of albums. Their passion and rebellion fuelled them to defy
social conformities of their era. Included in the repertoire are songs from
Guns n’ Roses, Green Day, Pearl Jam, Metallica, Blink 182, AC/DC, The Rolling
Stones, The Who, Bon Jovi, ZZ Top, Lenny Kravitz, Led Zeppelin, Judas Priest
and Pink Floyd. These bands and their songs will evoke memories in each and
every member of the audience.
‘The Reals’ with
Barry Thomson on lead guitar and vocals, Dawn Selby as Musical Director on
keyboards and vocals, Mali Sewell on drums and vocals and Jason Andrew on bass
guitar and vocals, are joined by guest lead guitarist Shaun Dragt.
