The Royal Show is playing host to the Royal
India Pavilion in Halls 3 and 4 at the Royal Showgrounds in Pietermaritzburg
from May 26 to June 4.
Visitors will get the chance to experience
and understand the radiant colours, style and design of the Indian
subcontinent. They will also be able to learn about Indian culture, taste
Indian food, and explore the music and textiles of the region.
“We are bringing India to you and take
India to the world,” said organisers, Sisonke Events, “creating a clear
understanding and vision for a better business achievement for both countries.”
They also hope to increase tourism,
encourage entrepreneurship and understanding of the international market and
the demands of consumers and businesses.
Manufacturers, designers, sculptures and
artists from both North and South India will be showcased in the Pavilion.
Check out the latest Bollywood fashion and style, stone and wood items,
cosmetic jewellery, natural stone ornaments, and more.
