INTERPRET DURBAN IS BACK!

Deadline: September 8, 2017

Interpret Durban is back and celebrating eight years of Durban creative goodness!

For those unfamiliar with this event, Interpret Durban 8 (or #ID8 for short) is a creative competition that covers photography, video, illustration, visual art and this year is introducing two youth categories that culminates in a night of exhibitions and live music. This event has become the undisputed grand slam of youth-driven creative competitions in the city and culminates in a night of proudly Durban goodness where the entries are exhibited in a giant exhibition, the winners announced and one heck of a party is had.

The theme is City of Change: Converge, Collaborate, Coexist.

“We are asking you to tackle the issues that we face in Durban and find a creative way in expressing and motivating for change. We are looking for a creative public service announcement that can rally the masses,” says a representative.

To be part of this great creative challenge and stand a chance to win your share of over R100,000 in prizes across the above categories and exhibit with the best Durban has to offer at #ID8,  go to www.interpretdurban.com and download the brief and entry form for one of the categories mentioned above.

Submissions for Interpret Durban 8 close on September 8, 2017. More information available on www.facebook.com/interpretdurban; www.twitter.com/interpretdurban;or www.instagram.com/interpretdurban
