Earlier this year, M-Net 101 on DStv bumped
up its schedule with an extended prime time, from 18h00 until midnight. Now,
the channel of non-stop magic is taking another step to make it easier for
viewers to find their favourite shows. Come September 1, all the prime time
programming on M-Net 101 will start on the hour.
“We promised our viewers that we would
continue to streamline our M-Net 101 line-up to make it super-strong and predictable,”
says M-Net General Manager Nkateko Mabaso. “With the rejuvenated M-Net 101
schedule, kicking off this Spring, there can be no more confusion about the
start time of programmes. You can simply switch over to M-Net on the hour for a
fresh, new show.”
This means that the hugely popular
international reality slot will now start at 18h00, Mondays to Fridays. That
will be followed by top rated Hollywood series - mostly dramas - at 19h00,
after which viewers can sit tight for more acclaimed action drama and Express
from the US fare at 20h00 and 21h00. Then, at 22h00, when the youngsters are
tucked into bed, the more risqué series will follow in the channel’s
strictly-for-adults slot.
