Poet, songwriter and guitarist, Mbijana Sibisi (26) will be performing at Sound Café in Ballito on October 27, 2017. The charismatic artist will be capturing the audience joined by his band: Njabulo Shabala on percussion and Milton Chissano on guitar.

Sibisi describes his sound as a mixture of storytelling and music, in his own words: “I consider myself as a social commentator and believe I am the voice of the people”. He aims to use his music to spread real-life stories about happiness, but is not afraid to touch on societal issues, while at the same time putting smiles on people’s faces.

“For this show we preparing a nice balance between our rendition of jazz standards and original material, people can also expect calming acoustic sounds” says Sibisi
