 The Westville Theatre Club will hold auditions for their next production Where There's a Will by Ian Hornby .

Audition dates and times are as follows:

January 20 at 14h00; January 22 at 19h00 or January 23 at 19h00

Auditions will be held at Westville Theatre Club (adjacent to Westville Swimming Pool). 

The play is a comedy drama with a deadly theme with a twist in the tale and the cast comprises four female and four male as follows:

Linda Parkinson - Lady of the house - Age 35 and up
Derek Parkinson - Linda's husband - Age 35 and up
Mary - Their housekeeper - Age 45 to 55 (can be younger or older)
The Vicar
Colin Parkinson - Derek's brother - Age 35 and up
Carol Hargreaves - Linda's sister - Age 35 and up
Julie - a friend
Peter - Julie's husband

The ages of the characters are flexible - husbands and wives to be of similar age and the siblings to be of similar ages.  The vicar can be youthful to middle aged to elderly, as can be the housekeeper.

Jill Sysum, who has performed in and directed many shows for the WTC over the years, as well as walking the boards of Blank Canvas Productions, will be directing the play and is looking forward to inspiring her cast with the thrill of theatre and all its traditions and disciplines.

To audition, prepare a brief monologue or short reading which will showcase your character, failing which a few pieces will be available to be used as well.

Rehearsals are to be held every Monday and Thursday evening at the club starting February 1, 2018. Show dates are April 11 to 21, 2018.
