in its khaki frame is one of two new paintings just arrived at the Elizabeth
Gordon Gallery from Durban artist Karen Fortune.
Fortune has a keen following of collectors and for those not familiar
with her art, her works falls into the hyper-realistic genre, with ultra-fine
detail. It is a treat to take time reflecting and marvelling all the minute
details and precision that one finds in her paintings. She is a keen mountain
biker and her sport takes her to all sorts of remote places in KZN where she
finds material for her work.
