To celebrate the international 2018 “Take a
Child to the Theatre” Durban Actors Studio, will present the PLAY IN A DAY
workshop, a free theatre workshop.
“We are calling all our young imaginative
minds, from the age of 9 to 17, to come together, create and perform your own
play in just one day! This is your chance to create a unique, fun piece of
theatre. Who knows what stories you’ll tell, what strange and wonderful
characters you’ll create and what worlds you’ll transport your audience to? At
the end of the day you’ll perform to friends and family,” explains Gill Brunings
of the Durban Actors Studio.
The workshop will take place on March 29
from 08h00 to 17h00 (parents to provide snacks/drinks – students are NOT
allowed to leave the venue)
The show time will be 17h00 to 17h30
(children to be collected by 17h30). The workshop is free – book early as there
