IMPULSE CLASSES FROM DURBAN ACTORS STUDIO

Impulse (a desire to act), by Durban Actors Studio, is a weekly acting class which offers a continuous group training environment to develop and expand your performance skill set.

Each term the studio follows a new and different theme; ranging from comedy to character development, basic skills of an actor to script work, improvisation to devising drama. Classes are led by highly experienced theatre practitioners and provide solid, structured training in a fun and supportive environment; plus, the opportunity to meet new people and network in a creative environment.

Weekly classes are intended to upgrade skills and knowledge to ensure success in the performance field, they are not credit-bearing and not registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF). Certificates of Attendance are only handed out at the end of an academic year and only when a student has undertaken at least three terms with the studio.
