The Centre for Jazz and Popular Music will present The South African Jazz Songbook a series
of jazz workshops and concerts (tomorrow), June 1, 2018.
A top flight ensemble with five high profile US jazz artists
including James Ford (trumpet), Bob Ferrazza (guitar), Chris Anderson
(trombone), Michael Orenstein (piano), Emma Loring Adomeit (bass) with Karen
Devroop (South Africa) on saxophone joined by a local drummer.
The South African Jazz
Songbook takes place at 19h00 on June 1, 2018 (doors open at 18h30) at The
Centre for Jazz and Popular music (CJPM), Level 2, Shepstone Building at UKZN
Howard College Campus. General admission R100 (R80 pensioners, R50 students).
