The Pietermaritzburg Arts Kollective (The PAK) will be held
at the Hexagon Theatre (The Dive) on June 2. This Launch aims to expose the organisation
to its people of Pietermaritzburg which are potential partners, investors, sponsors
and audience.
The PAK comprises young artist industry professionals who
have studied and worked within the arts industry. The PAK aims to establish an
artist hearth in Pietermaritzburg, where platforms will be created to ensure
the exposure of local talents and keep the arts alive the community whilst
creating educational experiences across institutions.
“We have worked really hard for the past couple of months
since the company was establishment in June 2017. We’ve helped uplift artists
and assist them launching their own brands. And we have staged plays and given
artists a chance to shine in their spectrums either be music, acting, dance,
visual art or clothing. This time the Pak is launching themselves to the public
and would be a great opportunity for Business entities, Art Industries and
Social Departments,” say the organisers.
The Pietermaritzburg Arts Kollective (The PAK) launch will be
held at 18h00 on June 2, 2018, at the Hexagon Theatre (The Dive) in
