The British Cultural and Heritage
Association (BCHA) is calling for aspirant orchestral musicians in the Durban
area to register with them if they would like to participate in the annual
‘Massed Orchestra’ event on October 21, 2018.
Supported by Corobrik, BCHA’S Orchestra
2018 concert takes place at Penzance School, Nkulisa Conference Centre, 61
Penzance Road in Glenwood. This year’s massed ad hoc orchestra of prospective
players will perform under the seasoned baton of conductor Sue Cock.
All participants must be able to read and
play music. They are required to pay an entry fee of R60, and to register to
play either as individuals of as part of a group.

Steenberg at BCHA office on 031 202 6174. She will email you a registration
form. On receipt or your payment, she will email you the music to be performed.
Participants are encouraged to register
well in advance of the event, as they must be as conversant as possible with
the prescribed music. Deadline is September 6, 2018.
