Daniel Francis will be presenting a
scholarly paper at an international conference in 2019 in the U.S.A. on a theme
in Julius Caesar originally broached
by Professor Elizabeth Sneddon in her Principles of Drama classes in the 1950s
in the Speech And Drama Department at the University of Natal, Durban, City
Buildings.
“On more than one occasion Professor
Sneddon said in class she intended to write in detail on the theme. At the
podium, I shall be acknowledging my debt to Elizabeth Sneddon. It will be most
fitting if there are Sneddon’s actual published texts to cite within the
presentation,” says Francis.
“I shall be grateful to anyone who provides
me information on such texts.”
