In celebration of the summer holiday with
promise of long lazy days, the Ladysmith Black Mambazo academy presents the
first Inanda Dam World Music Festival featuring the stellar line-up of
Ladysmith Black Mambazo; Lira; Oliver Mtukudzi; The Muffinz; Mbuso Khoza; Steve Kekana; Shabalala Rhythms,
Jeremy Oliver and Joe Nina.
The festival will take place at the dam on Sunday, December 9,
2018.
“Our intention is for this event to happen
annually and become one of Durban’s and KZN’s signature festive season events.
The idea is to feature some of Africa’s greatest music icons who have made it
big globally thereby promoting African culture through music and other arts
forms,” explains festival organiser Xolani Majozi.
