After the Armistice concert popular Durban
musician Colin Penn had more calls and Facebook messages than ever before,
asking for a Christmas concert which he had not previously considered.
“Together with a wonderful well-known singer
Belinda Dolphin and recently returned John Corlett, I have a show I wanted to
do some time ago. Once again, I am limiting the numbers so that it seems as
though you are all with me in my lounge,” explains Penn.
“I am sure that you have a favourite
Christmas past ... maybe more! A happy event; a romantic one or even a special
song which has stayed with you. From 1958 to 1970 I have several, mainly
because of songs, great songs that mean a lot to me. I would really love to
share this very Christmassy show with you remembering the times and the songs.
Please join me!”
Yesterday’s
Santas takes place on Sunday December 16, 2018, at
14h00 at the Norwegian Hall, 214 St Thomas Road. Tickets R70 including
