Business and Arts South Africa (BASA) in
partnership with Rand Merchant Bank are launching the second iteration of their
successful Scale-Up programme. The objectives of the programme are to connect
creative practitioners and cultural organisations to interrogate the state of
the sector, and to create a dynamic networking space to share ideas and
strategies to increase access, create value and to cultivate agency.
The programme activities happen between May
and September, 2019. The selected participants will be expected to attend or to
appoint organisation representatives to take part. The most committed
individuals and organisations will get an opportunity, at the end of the
programme, to pitch for a grant and mentorship.
Who should apply?
-Individual creative practitioners between
25 to 40 years old.
-Creative/cultural organisations working
with people between 25 to 40 years old.
-Applicants (both individual and
organisations) must have been practicing for a minimum of three years, and live
and/or work in Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth, Cape Town and Durban.
