Barry Thomson’s new solo acoustic show
titled Times Like These reflects on
past and present personal experiences. The show content is largely based on
finding the light in the darkness, finding a peaceful happy place in the midst
of our mad world. Songs have been carefully chosen to tell stories which
everyone can relate to…... “sometimes you’re the windshield, sometimes you’re
the bug”.
Also featured will be stripped-down
acoustic versions of popular hit songs from The Reals tribute shows including
Dire Straits, Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty, James Taylor, Rodriguez, The Eagles,
Jethro Tull, John Mayer, Jackson Browne and Neil Diamond.
The songs will touch your heart and get
your foot tapping!

April 17 at 19h30 – This will be a St

April 19 to 21 with shows on Friday and
Saturday at 20h00 and on Sunday at 14h00. (Venue opens 90 minutes before show
for drinks)
Tickets R150 (R130 pensioners, students
with a valid student card and tables of eight or more, R75 under-13s).
Take along food picnic baskets. Braais will
be available. There is limited secure parking and booking is essential. A cash
bar is available (no alcohol may be brought on to the premises). Rhumbelow
Durban is situated at 42 Cunningham Road off Bartle Road in Umbilo.
