The Durban launch of To the Peace on Earth written by Struan Douglas will take place on May 12, 2019, at The KZNSA from 15h30, and will feature a live performance by Madala Kunene and Bafo’s.

The book is set in the post-apartheid era and is released under a multi-media theme of 25 years of democracy. Durban is a breeding ground for so much culture of South Africa. And the people of Durban are invited to celebrate with us in a magical afternoon of music and celebration.

15h30-16h30 and 17h00-18h00: Madala Kunene performing live set.

16h30-17h00: The launch will take the form of a 30-minute discussion between Douglas and Sifiso Ntuli of the Roving Bantu Kitchen in Brixton, Johannesburg, on the power and transformation of the music of the freedom era in the late 90s in South Africa.
