Well-known and acclaimed Zulu Zen potter Andrew
Walford will celebrate Women's Day by holding a Women's Day Weekend Event from
August 9 to 11 from 10h00 to 17h30.
The studio will be open on these three days
so that patrons can visit at their leisure, take in a throwing demo by Walford,
as well as a tour of the studio.
You will be given the opportunity to make
your own pot on the throwing wheel, under the guidance of Walford and Kloof
potter Anne Schultz. Now is the time to gain some knowledge of this ancient
craft.
They will be serving their delicious breyani,
and pecan and pear cakes with tea, coffee and homemade lemon juice.
