In July, Christopher Duigan plays a thrilling selection, dramatic and brilliant, offering a review of his recent performances at the Latimer Music Festival in the Chiltern Hills, England.

Included in Moonlight Sonata are several of his favourite compositions he loves to play. The programme features Beethoven’s Sonata in C-sharp Minor Op 27 No 2 Moonlight’; Debussy’s Claire de Lune, Handel’s Chaconne in G, and Chopin’s Ballade No 1 as well as music by Schubert and Liszt.

Performances will take place as follows:

July 25 at 19h00 - Amber Auditorium, Howick
July 26 at 18h30 - 'Casa Mexicana' Pietermaritzburg
July 28 at 11h30 - Tatham Art Gallery
July 29 at 19h00 - Ashton Int. College, Ballito
July 30 at 19h30 - St Agnes Church, Kloof
