THE ARTIST’S WAY COURSE

(Bernice Stott)

Believing all people are creative, Julia Cameron has written a book/course to help people transition their ideas into sustainable action. It is a creativity coaching course not an art making course.

The Artist’s Way has taught artists and non-artists, homemakers, lawyers, painters, gardeners and filmmakers to live more creatively through practising an art; or simply to practice the art of creative living. In deciding our creativity matters, “We need to live a principled, creative, active life in support of our cherished ideal, to manifest our best potential,” she says.

Bernice Stott is the course facilitator of the 12 week course which takes place in two venues, Eye4art Gallery in Umhlanga, and Refreshed at New Salt Rock Centre:

Eye4art Gallery from July 19 to October 18, 2019, on Friday mornings from 09h45 to 12h00. Cost: R2,650 pp.

Refreshed from July 22 to October 14, 2019, on Monday mornings from 09h45 to 12h00 Cost: R2,750 pp.

Stott explains: “We really want to trust ourselves to make the changes to stay productive, creative and happy. The Artist’s Way is a proven course that has remained in the list of Top 100 Best Self- help Books of all time- because it works for those who use its techniques. It is a coaching course not an art making course. The book has taught thousands of people from all walks of life to gain self-confidence in harnessing their creative potential. Doing the course with others will support turning your desired dreams into sustainable realities.

“My background as a professional speaker, trainer, lecturer and teacher helps me to motivate people to get excited about rediscovering their talents. I have qualifications in drama, art, theology and Lifeline training which have ignited my interest in coaching people to live purposely and revitalise their creative potential,” she adds.

In her professional life, Stott is an artist, manages an architectural practice and taught drama at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Informed by a broad spectrum of life and professional experience, her leadership skills and interest in creativity help people revitalise their creative potential. Visit www.bernicestott.co.za
