(Jem Atkins)

Comedian Jem Atkins is undeniably hilarious in his latest solo offering - Not Famous!

After a sold-out three-night run at the Seabrooke’s Theatre in August, receiving rave reviews from fans and critics alike, Atkins returns to Rhumbelow Theatre in Durban for a run from October 4 to 6.

So if you didn’t get to see the renowned funnyman in action…now’s your chance! The review on artSMart stated: “Hilarious! One certainly gets their money’s worth!”

It’s Atkins’s third solo comedy show…and this time it’s personal! He lets audiences peak behind the curtain in this laugh-a-minute exposé of the real life of one of South Africa’s funniest performers!

From surviving divorce, to overcoming addiction and crippling performance anxiety, to the highs and lows of ‘making it big’ in Durban, Atkins is wildly entertaining and brutally honest.

He’ll share some priceless tips on how to survive tough economic times, the beautiful madness of fatherhood and the hilarious hazards of online dating, all while poking fun at everyday South African life.
