Work Opportunity: Artist-Facilitators for
Kickstarter
ASSITEJ SA is looking for
Artist-facilitators to work in the award-winning Kickstarter Educational
Empowerment programme next year. These Artist-facilitators should be based in
or close to the following areas: KwaMashu, Pietermaritzburg, Welkom,
Bloemfontein, Johannesburg, Carltonville.
These Artist-facilitators need to be
skilled in facilitating at least one art form (but prepared and ready to learn
to facilitate across all four disciplines: Visual Art, Dance, Drama and Music).
They must be prepared to work in local primary schools in their area, and to
mentor Creative Arts teachers in the Intermediate Phase CAPS. They need to be
able to offer at least 1-2 mornings a week to the programme, as well as to
attend a minimum of 24 days of training over the course of each year. They must
be available for training workshops this year between December 9 to15, 2019.

evidence of previous performance experience and/or experience working with
learners, preferably in a school environment. Also provide the names and
