Music Revival audiences can enjoy a
delightful programme of music for four hands at one piano with Mark Nixon and
Christopher Duigan. One Piano Four Hands
follows performances for the duo at the Latimer Festival in the Chiltern Hills,
England in July 2019.
Recreating some of that magical idyllic
beauty, they play Mozart's Sonata in C major, Debussy’s evocative Petite Suite
and music by JS Bach and Astor Piazzolla.
Mark Nixon is a graduate of the Amsterdam
Conservatory, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, the University
of Cape Town and UNISA. From 2000 to 2002, he was the Anthony Saltmarsh Junior
Fellow at the Royal College of Music. He has performed in Holland, France,
Greece, China, Italy, the UK, the USA and currently holds the position of Head
of Keyboard Studies at the prestigious King’s College School in Wimbledon.
Christopher Duigan is a Steinway Artist.
