Calling all artists!
The Denis Hurley Centre announces a new project for 2020 to showcase the
works of artists from across Durban – professionals, refugees, homeless people,
keen amateurs, varsity students and school learners.
Express yourself in response to the theme Sharing the City – using any medium as long as it is on a piece of
A3 paper.
In January, the Denis Hurley Centre will be providing art-making venues.
In February they will be collecting finished works of art.
Then during one week from March 21 (Human Rights Day), 2020, the works
will be exhibited for sale in a range of venues across the city to raise money
to help the Denis Hurley Centre in its support for marginalised communities.

host a creation venue or an exhibition space.
