Naked at the bus stop - A feeling of being
naked comes from not feeling good about some parts of yourself either inside or
outside, then when you are in public you feel as if people can see through your
clothes, deep down to your broken parts, a feeling of shame creeps in, you feel
as if everyone is watching, judging and laughing at your brokenness.
This happens because you have lost control
of your life, you have let your experiences or situations define you, you are
not your experiences, you are greater than you think. Take control, rise above
that feeling of shame, and rise above that vulnerability.
“With this piece we are looking at how we
as people strip ourselves naked simply by not accepting ourselves as we are.
The major themes being: self-pity, insecurity and vulnerability,” explains Vusi
Makanya.
