“67 Blankets for Nelson Mandela Day does
not sleep and, our work goes on, says Carolyn Steyn, founder of this
international movement.
“The need for blankets and warmth is now
more important than ever before, see what the Knitwits across the country are
doing, the knitting and crocheting continues and the organisation is welcoming
blankets made with love to distribute to the less fortunate as winter
approaches and warmth is badly needed.”
There are ambassadors across the country
that can collect blankets or squares to distribute.
Donations of wool are very
welcome!
