ONSTAGE@ALTITUDE 2020

What do jazz, comedy, voice, song, and stilettoes have in common?

After a seven-month dearth of theatre OnStage@Altitude is presenting a short season of diverse works prior to the commencement of the 2020 adult pantomime, Red Hot.

Six works covering a wide range of theatre will be presented over six weekends.

The season begins with Thulile Zama and David Smith in Concert from October 15 to 17, jazz and Afro-jazz; followed by Step Out with Masood Boomgaard from October 22 to 24, a comedy competition under the auspices of Friends of SA Comedy, and Lisa Bobbert in her hit one-woman show Bobbertlicious on October 29 and 30, with a matinee on November 1.

Anthony Stonier in his new show Dora Hardyke… The Mmm! Tour – aLIVE… just! from November 5 to 7; the Gee Jays in their show Unlocked, relief born out of the Covid-19 lockdown, from November 12 to 14; with Flame in the Snow, a new work based on correspondence between Ingrid Jonker and AndrĂ© Brink, featuring Cara Roberts and Mpilo Nzimande, completing the season from November 19 to 21.

OnStage@Altitude is located at 25 Silver Avenue, Stamfordhill. Parking with guards is available directly adjacent to the venue. Alternatively, Uber or Bolt are suggested for additional peace of mind.
