Macbob Productions in association with The Rhumbelow Theatre presents Aaron McIlroy and Lisa Bobbert in Hysterix this Festive season.

Are you feeling slightly hysterical? barely hanging on to the ragged edge of reason? Well, we have the perfect show for you! Hysterix, the latest production From Durban’s most hilarious comic duo, Aaron McIlroy and Lisa Bobbert.

Guaranteed to turn your frown upside down!

This frantic musical comedic tour de force is happening from December 11 to 24 at Tina’s Hotel in 14 Beryldene Road in Kloof, and from December 27 to 31 at The Northlands Bowling Club, Durban North.

Performances at Tina’s Hotel as follows:

December 11-13 (December 11 sold out):

Saturday at 19h30 and Sunday at 14h00

December 15-20:

December 15, 17, 18 and 19 at 19h30 

December 16 and 20 at 14h00

December 22 to 24 – all shows at 19h30

To assist in keeping Tina's Hotel afloat, it has been agreed that a basic meal will be offered – this is optional. There are five meal options available at a cost of R100 each. Total ticket price for Tina’s – including food - R280 The kitchen is open if you wish to arrive and order off the menu. Tickets show only R180. Minimum table size 4.

“Whilst we are not changing our 2020 pricing for Aaron & Lisa, we would ask that if you are able to please assist us and the performers by donating a higher ticket price,” says Roland Stansell who runs the Rhumbelow circuit.

ALL SEATING WILL BE AT SEPARATE TABLES AND WE WILL OBVIOUSLY BE SEATING CO-HABITING COUPLES AND/OR FAMILY MEMBERS.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING COVID-19 PROTOCOLS FOR PATRONS

1.            HEALTH AND SAFETY REGARDING VENUES

1.1.         All staff will be issued with Face shields.

1.2.         All staff will be issued with Mouth and nose coverings.

1.3.         All venues & equipment will be fogged and sanitized before and after each show.

1.4.         Hand sanitiser and surface cleaner is available at all our venues to ensure safety.

1.5.         Where possible windows and doors will be kept open to ensure max ventilation.

1.6.         All venues will have demarcations to ensure social distancing on arrival and in the venues.

 

2.            HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS FOR PATRONS

2.1.         Patrons need to wear a face and nose covering at all times in the venue except when eating or drinking.

2.2.         All patrons will have their temperatures taken on arrival at the venue.

2.3.         All patrons will be required to complete documents relating to Travel and Covid-19 contacts.

2.4.         All patrons will be required to complete an indemnity form.

2.5.         All patrons will be required to complete an indemnity Form, Travel & Covid Form & an attendance register with all appropriate information including confirmation of co-habiting/family/socialising groups when attending.

2.6.         All patrons will be hand sanitized on arrival.

2.7.         All patrons will be requested to bring hand sanitizer with them to the venue.

2.8.         Any patron who does not meet the required Health & Safety protocols and temperature check will be refused entry.

2.9.         Patrons above the age of 60 or a person with co-morbidities will be discouraged from attending performances. (Government Guidelines - – please be guided by your own health status)
