SUPA DUPA CHRISTMAS PUPPET SHOW

(Mim Erasmus)

Durban’s favourite puppets, Suzy, Granny and Christopher Crocodile are back with their traditional Supa Dupa Christmas Puppet Show.

In this year of change, it is refreshing to see that the spirit of Christmas and all its loving, giving thoughts still carries on. Join Rhumbelow Theatre for a joy-filled story of song and dance as Auntie Mim (Miriam Erasmus) takes you on another Suzy adventure.

Suzy is visiting Granny for Christmas Eve, and, as the evening progresses, Granny tells her all about our Christmas Traditions.

You can sing along with all the favourite songs, and get lost in their world of wonder, imagination and magical moments. There are surprise visits, from some familiar characters, as the party gets going.

The Supa Dupa Christmas Puppet Show runs on December 18 and 19 and again from December 21 to 24. All shows are at 11h00.

Rhumbelow Theatre has done its best to make sure that the show is a safe area for everyone. All protocols are in place.

The children can join in and sing along, as they will not have to wear masks inside the theatre if they have munchies in their hands.

The perfect holiday delight for children of all ages, 4 to 400!! Show running time approximately 55 minutes. There will be some fun colouring-in afterwards for the youngsters and a colouring-in competition. Snacks and juices will be on sale.

“Whilst we are not changing our 2020 pricing we would ask that, if you are able, to please assist us and the performers by donating a higher ticket price,” says Roland Stansell, who runs the Rhumbelow Theatre circuit.

Tickets R75 booked through Computicket or email Roland at roland@stansell.co.za or visit events.durbantheatre.com
