MUSIC REVIVAL’S LIVESTREAMS

(Christopher Duigan. Pic by Val Adamson)

Christopher Duigan’s popular Musical Revival’s livestreams celebrated its 100th session last weekend (March 12-14, 2021) with popular James Grace (guitar).

Duigan explains: “This past week we focused on selections from the previously recorded albums Picnic Piano and Nocturne Café. They have been out of print for a number of years but still receive air time on national radio. I am sure many who purchased the original CDs have worn them out! Good news is they are now uploaded to all major streaming platforms including AppleMusic and Spotify. It is worth subscribing to either to access the enormous amount of music available online. More of my albums will follow including a previously unreleased selection, Moments of Night.”

This week marks the culmination of an entire year of twice-weekly livestream sessions! Duigan will present something uniquely engaging and spectacular for the occasion on Saturday March 27, 2021:

Saturday March 27 No. 106 at 18h00 (CAT)

In Concert - Chopin Etudes Op. 10 for World Piano Day

Don't miss this exceptionally brilliant programme! Duigan tackles the demanding Etudes Op.10 by Chopin for International Piano Day (which is actually on Monday March 29 - the 88th day of the year equalling the number of keys on the piano).

The following concerts are:

Wednesday March 31 No. 107 at 18h00 (CAT)

Piano Hour: Mozaic

A unique programme of miniatures and tiny fragments presented in continuous play for a fascinating listening experience.

Saturday April 3 No. 108 at 18h00 (CAT)

Duigan goes on to thank all those who are contributing with weekly, monthly and once-off donations! “I am extremely grateful for the continued and generous support I have been receiving. I need your support! In order to continue working under current lockdown restrictions, and cover the costs of producing a unique and world-class production that is reliable and easily available, please continue to support this project. Please also share our links and streams to all you know!”
