PIANO @ THE PACKSHED

“Posh, Passionate and Playful” is how the show Piano @ The Packshed is described!

On April 16, The Packshed Restaurant is delighted to present Piano at the Packshed – a soirée-supper-theatre type evening in a venue close to Margate on the KZN south coast.

For this elegant evening, Barbie Meyer teams up with her partner in piano-crime, Jonathan Brauteseth. They have been performing together for many years in intimate venues all over the country and form a formidable and quirky pair. Totally at ease with each other other’s quirks, they pair up to offer both haunting and playful duets. This is interspersed with hilarious bits of information about the ridiculousness of humanity seen through their eyes, each other and the lyrics they perform.

"...We like to think that our show is refreshingly unpretentious yet glamorous enough to haul out your faux fur and pearls for”, Barbie laughs. So don a pair of posh heels, slip on a crisp shirt and don’t miss out on an intimate evening of musical entertainment with great, locally sourced and sustainable food.

“What to expect food wise?” she explains. “Welcoming drink to write home about: Champagne, vodka, fresh fruits, lemon & lime juice, passion fruit cordial, sparkling water, mint Amouse Bouche – a surprise mouthful to awaken the palate.“Main Course - Chicken breast stuffed with spinach & feta, wrapped in homemade rooibos smoked bacon, served with a brandy, green peppercorn and home grown mushroom - cream, fondant potatoes and herbs.

“An equally delectable Vegetarian or Vegan version will also be available. Please specify when you book.”

Piano at the Packshed takes place on April 16, 2021 at 18h00 for 18h30. Tickets R295 includes welcoming drink, Appetiser, Dinner & Show. (Cash bar available)
