The Independent Artists of Durban in partnership with the Denis Hurley Centre invite audiences to the second instalment of their monthly free pop up activation and concert to entertain the homeless, the shoppers, commuters and anyone else who wants to come along
This month the headline act is the Best So
Far band. They and others will be performing between 10h00 and 13h00.
Please bring cash to support the artists and also to buy some of the crafts and refreshments that will be on sale.
Local Artists are collaborating with the community to Busking for a Cause. Organised in unity to preserve the local creative industry and to help manage the pressure caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. The Independent Artists of Durban in partnership with local organisations and the community have mobilised through; campaigning, promoting public art, crowdfunding, as well as audience engagement to develop the Independent Artists Busking Project.
The concert will take place at the Denis Hurley Centre, Paddy Kearney Way, on May 28, 2021, from 10h00.
