The KZN musicians are staging a tribute show celebrating the classic rock of the American south.
In The Flesh consist of veteran performers Grant Halliday (drums), Neil Ford (bass guitar) and Ross Tapson (guitar and vocals). For this show, the rotation is joined by a talented and exciting new face, Aaron Saunders (guitar and vocals).
“Aaron is great fun to be around, and the audience loves him,” says Tapson of their newest guest. “We’re very happy to have him on board.”
The show consists of faithful, energetic renditions of much-loved songs by southern greats such as CCR, Grand Funk Railroad, The Black Crowes, John Cougar Mellencamp, Tom Petty, ZZ Top, The Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Joe Walsh / The James Gang, Stevie Ray Vaughan – to name a few.
"We’ve included some things that may pleasantly surprise people too,” according to Ford.
Shows take place on September 17 and 18 at 18h30 and on September 19 at 14h00. (Venue opens 90 minutes before food and drinks downstairs at Tina's)

Tickets minimum R160 (no discounts for this show). A full bar is available (no food or alcohol may be brought on to the premises).
“Please note that for us to viably re-open The Rhumbelow Theatre at Tina’s Hotel we need to make some changes in regards how we run at Tina’s. We need to assist in generating a regular income for the hotel so that the theatre can continue to operate and for the hotel to also sustain itself,” Stansell adds.

The kitchen is open if you wish to arrive and order off the menu (bookings are essential) we recommend that you arrive at least an hour and a half prior to the start of the show.
All seating will be at separate tables and the venue will obviously be seating co-habiting couples and/or family members together.

With the current Covid levels, the venue will be limiting capacity to 50% capacity per show - as the Rhumbelow venues are small, they will be applying a 50% protocol for safety.
All tickets must be pre-booked no walk-ins allowed.
