Guy Buttery gives news of the release of new live concert footage from India and an upcoming South African tour with Nibs van der Spuy.
Buttery gives high 5’s to all for their support of his new trio record One Morning in Gurgaon featuring Mohd Amjad Khan (tabla) and Mudassir Khan (sarangi). Buttery plays the acoustic guitar, mbira, swarmandal and tanpura
He says: “The album has been travelling far and wide and getting a bunch of love with many cool reviews and kind words coming in from across the globe. “In other good news, I will be hitting the road for a series of concerts around South Africa with my old friend Nibs van der Spuy. This will be my first run of shows since January 2020. Yeh! We are both super keen as we have yet to officially tour our new SAMA nominated album Live in Lisbon. We will also be doing a small run of physical merchandise for this tour which will only be available at these concerts.
