Jesu: Musical Christmas Nativity, created by Menzi Mkhwane will take place from December 22 to 24, 2021, at the BAT Centre.

Jesu is a nativity musical production that tells the bible story of the birth of Jesus Christ. Starting off with the bible scripture “…for unto us a child is born…” from the book of Isaiah. The evening is a scripture-filled event with moments of worship songs and story moments straight out of the bible.

“It is a story of hope and courage that is set to bring back the faith of many believers during this trying time when the Corona virus has led us closer to our faith and away from our knowledge,” explains Mkhwane.

Mkhwane is a Naledi award-winning published playwright who has been performing on stage for 10 years. He also performs the characters in the bible story and presents the story mostly in narrative form.

The show has performances at 14h00 every day at the BAT Centre in the Small Crafts Harbour in Durban.

Tickets R100 (R180 per couple) booked through 079 554 4941.
