The Elizabeth Gordon Gallery is currently showing large canvases by Renee Leslie.

Joy Reynolds, owner of the gallery, states: “Renee Leslie, our Plettenberg Bay artist, is very versatile in all mediums of art, and particularly enjoys the challenge of large-scale canvases. Big canvases are so popular in the more minimalistic d├ęcor style at the moment and one good piece can be all that is needed in a room to create drama and impact.

The Long View is about one’s perspective of things and being able to see something from a different angle, or the idea that what’s better in the bigger picture is usually the best.”

“In Bits and Pieces, Renee states that during COVID our lives have become so fragmented, broken into bits and pieces, and with these many challenges, we long to become healed and ‘whole’ again.”

Both these are framed in a narrow black box frame and, as this week's Featured Artworks, qualify for 10% off.

The Elizabeth Gordon Gallery is situated at 120 Florida Road in Durban. For further information phone 031 303 8133, email: or visit
