After the successful inaugural Art for Conservation Auction in 2022, where close to R500,000 was raised for The Boucher Legacy, The Platform Gallery in Lions River is excited to announce the second Art for Conservation Auction which will take place on March 3, 2023. The Gallery venue on The Far Side Farm will host the event again.

The Gallery states: “If you enjoy auctions, art and wild nature this is the event for you. So, get in quick and book your seat at this annual ARC auction. Held in the beautiful KZN Midlands at The Gallery venue on The Far Side Farm.”

The artwork for this auction has been carefully selected and is of the highest quality and variety, small to large, something for every art collector. 40 Artworks include oil and acrylic paintings, original pencil art, bronze sculptures, steel sculptures and more.  

Maximum 24 tables of 6 guests per table. (No under 18s)

Tickets R500 per person (R3,000 per table) includes canapes served pre and post the auction; a full buffet lunch; premium wine, beer and spirits served throughout. There will also be live music. This is a great opportunity to preview all artworks and meet the artists. Returning artists include Sarah Richards, Vincent Reid and Carl Roberts.
