Friends of Music is to present a concert featuring Amit Yahav, a multi-award-winning international pianist who has earned a reputation for interpretations that grip and move audiences, with passion and intellectual insight.
The concert will take place on June 4 at the Durban Jewish Centre.

Amit Yadav was born in Israel and is now a
resident of London. He graduated with distinction from the Royal College of
Music and in 2018 earned a Doctor of Music degree for his thesis investigating
interpretation in the music of Chopin.
He is in much in demand as a recitalist, chamber musician and concerto soloist.
In performance, Yadav’s interpretations are historically informed, and often made accessible to the audience by spoken introductions which place the works in a historical, social and cultural context.
The concert takes place at 15h00 on June 4, 2023, at the Durban Jewish Centre.
