INTER ALIA WITH GEE JAYS

(Right: Paul & Jane Candow)

Lindisfarne B&B in the heart of Botha’s Hill, is hosting a day-time autumn outdoor concert on their expansive lawns, featuring Inter Alia with the Gee Jays: Marion Loudon, John Didlick and Grant Bell on Sunday, 21 May.

Husband and wife team, Jane and Paul Candow are venue hosts and they will be performing as Inter-Alia. They have been professional performers since 1984 – playing the Durban music circuit from 1984 until 1997. Jane’s distinctive voice handles Stevie Nicks, Toto, Pink and Alison Moyet covers with ease, as well as numbers by Talking Heads, Carly Simon, Lewis Capaldi and Paul’s guitar rendition of Nessun Dorma will give you goose bumps.  Musicianship at its best!

Inter Alia share the stage with the Gee Jays – who are probably the city’s longest running comedy cabaret group. They are happy to play most styles of music, but are probably best known for performing tunes from the 50s through 80s – all mixed with their incomparable tongue in cheek gaps.

The show takes place at Lindisfarne B&B in Botha’s Hill from 11h30 on May 21, 2023. Gates open 11h30

Tickets: R100 (R50 children under 12 years) per person. Cash or credit card accepted.

Prizes sponsored by Dormehl Phalane
